WHAT TO EXPECT
We certainly understand that new experiences at doctor offices can sometimes be stressful and overwhelming. That is why at Fortitude Family Chiropractic we make it our utmost priority that from the minute you walk through our doors you are greeted like part of the family and made comfortable. We are strong advocates for education and walking through the process of your first and second visit to FFC!
ARRIVAL & PAPERWORK
When you first arrive at Fortitude Family Chiropractic, we make sure you are greeted and given paperwork to fill out. The paperwork can also be found below, depending on if you complete the paperwork ahead of time or not this process generally takes around 10-15 minutes.
TOUR OF THE PRACTICE
After getting you checked in and all your paperwork finished we will give you a brief tour of our office. That way you will know where everything is located and we will answer any questions you may have. You can also help yourself to a nice cup of coffee or cold drink at our beverage area.
CONSULTATION
During your consultation, we will review your paperwork and health goals with you to get a better understanding of what all is going on. We will then also share with you more information about neurologically based chiropractic care and our approach to adjusting the body. Here you can certainly ask any health questions you may have and will learn more about chiropractic care at FFC.
ASSESSMENT
At FFC we believe in getting down to the root cause of your health concern, which is why we utilize the most up to date and reliable technology in our field. We use this technology to help identify and evaluate the location and severity of stress and nerve interference present in the spine. It is our goal to get down to the root cause of the dysfunction to give you the best possible care you need and deserve.
CHIROPRACTIC POSTURAL X-RAYS
Your final step in our office, if it is clinically needed, is to have digital x-rays taken. We have a full digital X-ray suite located in the office for your convenience. These x-rays are taken to allow Dr. Matt to get an exact assessment of your spine and problem areas, after all– to see is to know and to not is to guess, there is no guessing here at FFC.
REPORT OF FINDINGS
Your second appointment we start off by going over each of the x-rays and the assessments that we took during your initial visit. We break down the findings looking at each view with you and going over important measurements that might be affecting your health. We also more than welcome any questions you may have, like we said education is very important to us. We will also go over specific individualized chiropractic recommendations for your care.
YOUR FIRST ADJUSTMENT
Last but certainly not least after going over your x-rays and recommendations, you will receive your first chiropractic adjustment. Chiropractic adjustments at Fortitude Family Chiropractic are gentle, specific, and benefit anyone from newborns to seniors and everyone in between.
